Monthly Chakra Meditation with Hope Stanger

May is the month for focusing on our 4th chakra, the color green, which governs our heart center. This chakra houses the seed of our emotions and feelings and ultimately allows for healthy, balanced relationships – both with ourselves and others. It is a time for us to connect with our concept of love, learned and developed from early on – loving and being loved; worthiness, rejection, intimacy and grief. Our “life stories” help form our ability to have relationships that support healthy, vibrant love. This month, we will identify our own personal relationship with love, clear out any wounded space in the chakra and open our energy centers and our hearts to more profound love. 2015-05-15T18:45 1 hour Hope Stanger is a holistic therapist and nutritional counselor in Stamford, CT, and the founder of Therapy Beyond Walls, Healing Trauma, Relationships and Eating Disorders. Monthly Chakra Meditation with Hope Stanger

This month of March, as we focus our awareness and attention on the third chakra, as coincidence has it (or Not!), it is also the Spring Equinox. Amazingly, the exact moment of the equinox, when the sun crosses the celestial equator is 645 PM Friday evening- also the exact start time of our meditation.  WOW! That’s a powerful time to strengthen our self-confidence, the focus of our third chakra. My teacher of somatic therapy and the chakra system, Dr. Anodea Judith,  believes it to be “the power chakra… It rules our personal power, will, and autonomy, as well as our metabolism – and connects with energy, ego, power, will, risk, digestion, motivation and action.” Need a little kick start with any one of those? Come join us in meditation and dance your way into Spring with confidence. 2015-03-20T18:45 One hour

Monthly Chakra Meditation with Hope Stanger

“The Body is the Window to the Soul”… A Monthly Chakra Meditation led by Hope Stanger. Hope first learned this body chant from her teacher of somatic therapy, renowned author, healer and therapist, Dr. Anodea Judith: For the body is the temple of the spirit the body is the window to the soul If you listen lowly you can hear it whispering the truths that we all know whispering the truths that must be told whispering the truths that make us whole In this monthly meditation, we will journey through the chakras, month by month, focusing on cleansing, clearing, expanding and fortifying each of our energy centers, one chakra at a time. I believe that our body is the higher intellect, yet we let our mind trip us up with false wisdom all the time. The key is to get more closely connected to the messages our body wants us to hear. The chakras are an opening to the truth inside each of us. From here, we can recondition our cellular belief systems, deleting old messages that were fed to us and replacing them with true ones- the ones that […]
