MindFull Gathering: Success!

Dear Dew Yogis,
We had an amazing MindFull Gathering connecting with one another, the Yoga communities of CT Power Yoga, Family Tree Yoga , Mantra Yoga and Aerial Arts, many beautiful vendors, music and with Nature. The day exceeded any expectations and intentions we had for such a gathering. So many of you who attended, thanked me personally for putting together this event. It is a practice for me to receive such beautiful sentiments and as I do that work, let me shine some light on those who had as big a hand in this as I did.
coutney.JPGCourtney Dumais approached me months ago about having a yoga class at a venue she runs, The Beer Garden. It was really Courtney who planted the seed. For many weeks the idea evolved and flourished into the MindFull Gathering.

Screen Shot 2017-07-24 at 10.18.36 AMJanelle Taylor, a beloved Dew Yoga teacher stepped into the most important organizational and promotional role along with Courtney, myself, and Sage Irwin. Together we nurtured that little seed until it blossomed into the event so many of us enjoyed.

FullSizeRender 6For me, it was an incredible manifestation of community, which can not happen without all of you. You all made it happen and we hope the MindFull Gathering will continue to evolve and flourish beyond this year. We have included some great photos from the day, below. If you have pictures from the day, please send them along to us so we can share those as well.
All Love and Light to All of you!
Jen Irwin

7:30-8:45pm MEN’S YOGA with Bruce Bassock

We asked Bruce, off the cuff, what he loves most about teaching yoga… he said, “I love that students come up to me all the time after not seeing me for a while, and tell me that they are so much happier that they found yoga, and that it has changed their lives in so many ways – physically, mentally. and emotionally.”

Even if this already is your regular class and already favorite teacher, your class is still on us.
All Karma comes and goes around. Come practice, explore and discover.

This week’s FREE class with Laurie Jordan

This week! (Weds, April 5)
11am – 12:15pm Slow Flow & Yin Yoga with Laurie Jordan
We asked Laurie, off the cuff, what she loves most about teaching yoga:
“I love sharing the idea that when we learn to treat ourselves with compassion, we are better equipped to extend compassion toward others… that, and helping people learn to not take yoga so seriously!”
Even if this already is your regular class and already favorite teacher, your class is still on us. All Karma comes and goes around. Come practice, explore and discover!

Dew Yoga’s All Day Open House – Success!

Dear Friends!
What an amazing show of love, inspiration and support for Dew Yoga this past Sunday at the Open House. We enjoyed meeting so many new friends and curiosity-seekers. We shared with you the diversity and many dimensions of Yoga; instruction and community. We met our fundraising goal!!

Now we launch into summer with enthusiasm that is shared by both students and teachers alike. The day helped to reinforce our foundation and remind us all why Dew Yoga is so special and thrives by being in service. Look for new classes and upcoming events as well as a few shifts to the schedule to adapt to Summer schedules.

In Autumn, there will be even more for us to explore, learn and practice.

With love and so much gratitude for who and what Dew is – You, Me, We!
Jen
