Balancing the Energy with Alison DeNicola

We all have an energy body that is directly connected to our well-being on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. Bindu Band Kirtan

  • Using the call-and-response singing and storytelling, The Bindu Band will invoke a space of heartfelt expression that quiets the mind, removes obstacles, and brings us back to the center of our being. One of the oldest sacred music traditions of the world, the Kirtan call-and-response chanting genre comes to us from India. Using ancient Sanskrit mantras, the Kirtan calls upon sacred healing energies that carry us effortlessly to a place of quiet.

A Mindful Oasis In Turbulant Times – A Weekend Workshop with Bhante Wimala

  • Please join Bhante Wimala for an afternoon of meditation and insightful discussion about transmuting pain and suffering and manifesting positive changes in your life. Bhante Wimala is a highly trained Buddhist monk from Sri Lanka. He is a master meditation instructor and spiritual guide. This workshop includes a 45 minute yoga practice suitable for all levels of yogi, plus a guided color meditation in which we will visualize our heart centers. (Led by Jen Irwin) After yoga, we will roll up our mats and transition to an exploration of water colors, glue, and different types of paper while collaging. (Led by professional art teacher Rebecca Stern) Welcoming ages 14 and up. All supplies will be provided. $45/person. Register in advance.
