Japa Mala
Written By Ann Russell
Japa Mala, the repetition of a sound or mantra 108 times, is a practice I’ve been leading 3 times a week at Dew for several years now.
What a profound experience to sit and chant together!
No chanting experience necessary. Our voices blend into a single communal vibration, it’s all good.
We stay with one mantra for a season, so it becomes a close friend that accompanies us through thick and thin as we go about our day-to-day.
For autumn, I’ve selected this mantra from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Please come join us and see if this practice “resonates” with you…
