A Mindful Oasis In Turbulant Times – A Weekend Workshop with Bhante Wimala

  • Please join Bhante Wimala for an afternoon of meditation and insightful discussion about transmuting pain and suffering and manifesting positive changes in your life. Bhante Wimala is a highly trained Buddhist monk from Sri Lanka. He is a master meditation instructor and spiritual guide. Yoga Meets Art with Rebecca Stern and Jen Irwin

This workshop includes a 45 minute yoga practice suitable for all levels of yogi, plus a guided color meditation in which we will visualize our heart centers. (Led by Jen Irwin) After yoga, we will roll up our mats and transition to an exploration of water colors, glue, and different types of paper while collaging. (Led by professional art teacher Rebecca Stern) Welcoming ages 14 and up. All supplies will be provided. $45/person. Register in advance.

Guided Journey Meditation: Journey through the Four Directions with Alison DeNicola

  • Guided Journey Meditation is an amazing relaxation tool. All that is required is that the participants are open to the possibilities and suggestions of the guide. This month’s meditation features a guided journey based on the Native American medicine wheel. On Friday, April 5, we will journey through the four directions: East, South, West, and North. We will explore their gifts and deep healing. All you need to do is lay back, close your eyes, and fly with the eagle! Please feel free to bring pictures of loved ones and pets in need of healing. No experience required. All are welcome.
