Shyamdas combines ecstatic kirtan with stories and teachings from India. As a Vedic scholar and a bhakta, he shares the philosophy of non-dual devotion with authority and flair. Bedtime Yoga Camp-out For Kids

  • Come and join the fun at our kids meditation camp out featuring yoga games stories and a sleeping bag savasana. Our expedition will be led by Satya Franche.

Bring a sleeping bag or blanket, wear pajamas and be ready to have fun and relax! $20/person. Ages 4 – 10. Registration required. Two karma recipient spaces available. Drop off the kids and have dinner before taking relaxed yogis home for bed.

Satya Franche has been teaching yoga in centers and privately throughout the Westchester, Putnam and Connecticut areas since 2003. She received her certification through the Yoga Institute of Houston in a Viniyoga-inspired program by Lex Gillen and Stan Hafner. She has also completed Level I and II of Marsha Metzger’s Color Me Yoga for Children Teacher Training course. She is a long time student of Helena Mertens and has also studied Anusara yoga in depth. Satya is the yoga instructor for the Harvey School Cavalier Camp and has taught yoga to disabled students at Westchester Exceptional Children’s School and also teaches Lotus Littles at Quest Yoga Arts in Mt Kisco, NY.She also currently leads the group Ma Kirtan and expects to release her debut kirtan CD shortly.

Try T’ai Chi with Seth Geeslin

  • Curious about T’ai Chi? Seth Geeslin has been teaching the Yang Style Short Form for 13 years and now comes to Dew Yoga so we can try it.

This is a no fee class and everyone is welcome, however donations for the teacher are welcome if it is appropriate for you to contribute.

Seth has been practicing T’ai Chi for over 18 years and teaching for 13. This ancient martial arts form gently tones both body and mind. Unlike many other “hard” martial arts that rely on speed and force, T’ai Chi is a soft and focused on the yielding aspect of nature to overcome the hard, much like water can carver through solid rock over time.

Celebrating Motherhood

Restorative Yoga with Reiki Healing

Restorative Yoga is “passive” Yoga where the body is fully supported with blankets, blocks and bolsters in Yoga postures to enhance the flow of prana through specific pathways int he body for nourishment and restoration.
Reiki is the healing art of encouraging ones own energy (universal life force) through the body. Reiki promotes healing on all levels and leaves one feeling relaxed, soothed and with a general sense of well being.
