Prenatal Yoga for moms in all stages of pregnancy and their partners. 2011-02-19T14:30 2 hours In Partner Prenatal Yoga with Dale Rowley learn the poses that are safe for all trimesters of pregnancy. We will increase both partners strength, flexibility, energy, and stamina. Learn breathing techniques useful for labor, delivery and stress reduction throughout pregnancy. Our focus will be on breath, movement, relaxation, and bonding with baby and partner. Please register in advance. Maximum 6 couples. $40 a couple.

Ready to explore breath control beyond Dirgha 3-part breath and harness the power of prana for vitality, well being and stress reduction? 2011-01-09T11:15 1.5 hrs Learn the physical, emotional and mental benefits of pranayama, review basic breathing – dirgha and ujjayii, learn kappalabhati with the bandhas (energetic locks), and a take home breath practice you can use every day for meditation or asana practice. Some experience of 3-part breath is expected. These techniques may not be appropriate if you have had recent surgery or injuries in the abdominal or thoracic regions, uncontrolled high blood pressure or are pregnant.
