Guided Journey Meditation: Journey through the Four Directions with Alison DeNicola

  • Guided Journey Meditation is an amazing relaxation tool. All that is required is that the participants are open to the possibilities and suggestions of the guide. This month’s meditation features a guided journey based on the Native American medicine wheel. On Friday, April 5, we will journey through the four directions: East, South, West, and North. We will explore their gifts and deep healing. All you need to do is lay back, close your eyes, and fly with the eagle! Please feel free to bring pictures of loved ones and pets in need of healing. Asana of the Tongue: An Afternoon of Sanskrit and Chanting

  • The Sanskrit language, which developed over several centuries in India, is known to be the language of auspicious vibration and resonance. In this two hour session, the entire spectrum of Sanskrit sounds will be revealed through the chanting of its alphabet and traditional mantras and verses. Participants will learn to pronounce the names of yoga postures and other Sanskrit terms frequently used in class. They will then be able to experience the pure pleasure of Sanskrit through the chanting of its sounds.
